UFC on FOX 8 will feature a UFC flyweight championship bout as the main event Demetrious Johnson vs. John Moraga and will be held at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on Saturday, July 27 broadcast live on FOX.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship presents another championship main event on FOX, a flyweight title fight, and a stacked undercard. The main event has current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson putting his title on the line against top contender John Moraga. Johnson is one of the most technical fighters in mixed martial arts and has what it takes to climb up the pound for pound ladder, Moraga is a tough opponent hungry for a chance to dethrone the champion.
Canada’s Rory MacDonald is widely considered as one of the best Canadian fighters coming up and he will face off against wrestler Jake Ellenberger in a welterweight bout.
The hard hitting “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler will face Bobby Voelker in an exciting welterweight match up, that could be fight of the night.
Also on the UFC on FOX 8 Johnson vs. Moraga card is a Women’s bantamweight match between former title challenger Liz Carmouche against Jessica Andrade.
