Zahir Raheem and Tim Coleman Geared up for a Career Fight

October 29, 2013 By NB News

Tacoma, WA (October 29th, 2013) – On November 2nd, two fighters waiting to unleash their potential will step into the ring to headline Halquist Productions’ Battle at the Boat 93 at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, WA. Raheem, fighting under the Halquist Productions banner for the third time will look to add to the momentum he’s established earlier this year with two impressive victories. Making his professional debut will be Washington’s own Jeremy McCleary, who has become one of the state’s more prominent prospects.

Tickets for Battle at the Boat 93 are still available and can be purchased at the Emerald Queen Casino box office and through Ticketmaster. Prices start at $25.

Raheem’s comeback to the sport of boxing earlier this year has gotten off to a successful start. In March, Raheem quickly defeated Santos Pakau with a TKO in the second round. Raheem followed suit in June when he defeated Justin Juuko via TKO in the fourth round. Coleman has most recently appeared twice on ESPN’s Friday Night Fights when he took on Vernon Paris and Kendall Holt.

When Zahir Raheem (33-3-0, 20 KOs) and Tim Coleman (19-3-1, 5 KOs) step into the ring to headline Battle at the Boat 93, it will not just be another main event. It will be a fight between two talented fighters seeking a highly needed quality win. A win on Saturday night could get the victor back in the spotlight to begin 2014.

Battle at the Boat 6.1.13-6192

The undercard seen below is filled with local talent including the pro debut of Jeremy McCleary, who is labeled as one of top prospects coming out of Washington State. One additional bout will be announced shortly.

Jeremy McCleary (Buckley, WA) vs. Manuel Ortega (Seattle, WA) at 132 Lbs.

Halquist Productions’ Battle at the Boat continues to be the longest running professional boxing series at any Casino in the United States, while having staged numerous title fights on major sport networks such as ESPN, HBO, and ShowTime.
