Alex Ariza is at fault for assaulting Freddie Roach before Pacquiao-Rios fight

There was a little tussle before the Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios fight on Saturday, it was between Freddie Roach and Robert Garcia, the two trainers were arguing over the gym schedule. Roach was pissed off that Garcia was still using the gym with Brandon Rios when it was his time, and Roach cussed Garcia out, the argument was between Roach and Garcia. One of Garcia’s assistants gets involved and yells at Roach for cursing out Garcia, it was all verbal fighting until Alex Ariza took it personal and to the next level by yelling viciously at him and mocking Freddie Roach’s stuttering and Parkinsons disability which hit a nerve. Roach was walking forward a little telling him to throw him out and than Ariza front kicks him with vicious intent.

Freddie Roach is not racist at all, well from the confrontation at least. This whole thing is being exaggerated by a single reporter who was kicked out of the Wild Card gym years ago for instigating. You might remember a video of Antonio Margarito and Brandon Rios making fun of Freddie Roach and the way he talks because of his Parkinsons. Roach was offended by the video and hurt that the one who put the video up was the same reporter who he let into the Wild Card gym with open arms.

This reporter is similar to a Judas, a back stabber.  A sports reporter should remain neutral. He is a true instigator. He became famous because of Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao, once Roach kicked him out he started attacking Roach as a trainer, once Manny Pacquiao was knocked out by Marquez, he started making fun of Pacquiao. Alex Ariza and this reporter wouldn’t be as big as they are today if it wasn’t for Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao. Ariza was kicked out of the Wild Card for interfering with other peoples jobs, he tried to give instructions in the corner of fights and was pushing the cutman out of the corner, he also arrogantly takes credit for all the positive and blames the fighters and the trainers for when a fighter loses, claiming they lost because they didn’t follow his training routine.

Alex Ariza can be charged with assault. The video says it all, he got involved when the arguing was between Roach and Garcia. Nobody was getting physical until Ariza threw the front kick, Roach didn’t say anything until he was assaulted. Was Roach wrong in his insulting of Garcia? Yes, but Garcia’s team shouldn’t have gotten involved and just let Roach and Garcia settle it like two men. The only one who broke the law here is Ariza when he attacked Roach physically. Ariza also used derogatory terms against gay people while yelling at Roach.

Here is a better angle of the Freddie Roach, Robert Garcia, Alexa Ariza confrontation from Rappler:

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
