Video: Freddie Roach gets into scuffle before Pacquiao-Rios fight

November 19, 2013 By NB News

On Wednesday morning in Macau, China, Manny Pacquiao’s hall of fame trainer Freddie Roach got into an altercation with trainer Robert Garcia and the rest of Brandon Rios training staff over gym time.

Apparently Roach was mad that Robert Garcia was using the gym well past the given time, Garcia explained to Roach that they would leave in a few minutes and the reason they were cutting into Pacquiao’s scheduled time is because they had to do interviews on ESPN which delayed their training. Roach wasn’t having it and started to insult Garcia forcing them to get out. The two camps than started to get heated after Roach hurls  insults at Team Rios.  Alex Ariza, the former conditioning coach who worked with Freddie Roach and Manny Pacquiao at the Wild Card gym in Hollywood for 5 years but was recently fired by Roach, viciously kicked Roach and challenged him to a fight while mocking Roach’s Parkinson’s.

ESNEWS was able to get video of the Freddie Roach, Robert Garcia, Alex Ariza scuffle first hand:
