HBO Films presents Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth, a truthful, powerful and funny, one-man stage show starring the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world “Iron” Mike Tyson as he recounts his life from the bottom to the top. The stage show was directed and produced by Hollywood film making icon Spike Lee and will premiere on HBO November 16, 2013.
Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth was filmed in July of 2013, the former champ discusses topics from his life, and opens up candidly to the audience exposing himself emotionally reliving his evolution from wild and violent 20 something to a more mature and mellow 40 something retired fighter coping with his demons. Tyson was the most controversial sports figure of the 90’s and early 2000’s, from being the most dominant boxer on earth, to falling from the throne with personal demons such as drug abuse, financial instability, and controversies outside of the ring.
