Popular Australian fighter Anthony Mundine will take on former three-division champion Sugar Shane Mosley in a 12 round junior middleweight bout from Sydney, Australia on Wednesday November 27, and it will be shown online through ESPN3’s live streaming video feed.
Mosley and Mundine were supposed to fight on October 23, 2013 until Mosley pulled out of the fight due to a contractual breach, he only got $700,000 of his guaranteed $1 million purse, which he was supposed to receive up front. Later Mosley returned after Mundine’s manager made the agreed upon payment so it was salvaged and rescheduled for November 27.
Shane Mosley is coming off an impressive win at welterweight against a much younger game opponent Pablo Cesar Cano in May, Anthony Mundine is coming off a decision loss to Australian rival Daniel Geale at middleweight and dropped down to junior middleweight to fight Mosley.
