ESPN3 will present live coverage of the 12-round WBC Cruiserweight title showdown between titlist Krzysztof “Diablo” Wlodarczyk (48-2-1, 34 KOs) of Poland and former titleholder Giacobbe “Gabibbo” Fragomeni (31-3-2, 12 KOs) of Italy on Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 p.m. ET. The bout will take place at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion.
Wlodarczyk will be making his sixth title defense, and this will be the third meeting for the boxers. Their first fight in 2009 was a draw when they met for Fragomeni’s belt in Italy. In 2010, Wlodarczyk scored an eighth-round knockout win over Fragomeni for the vacant belt.
