UFC 168 will be the last event of the year for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and it will end 2013 with a bang. YouTube will live video stream the Pay-Per-View online.
The card takes place on December 28 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be headlined by two championship rematches, Chris Weidman vs. Anderson Silva 2, and Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate 2.
Chris Weidman made UFC history when he pulled of one of the biggest upsets in the companies history by knocking out Anderson Silva one of the most dominate champions to win the belt. Silva was literally caught with his hands down and finished, will he make the same mistake against Weidman again that is the question of the night.
Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate have a long standing feud that dates back to their days in Strikeforce when Rousey defeat Tate by armbar in the first round. The rivalry and animosity between the two female combatants stemmed from critical words exchanged on Twitter. This is the biggest fight in Women’s MMA history with the UFC women’s championship belt on the line.
Another interesting fight of UFC 168 is the heavyweight bout between former UFC champion Josh Barnett and rising contender Travis Browne. Browne is coming off an impressive knockout victory of Alistair Overeem and Barnett a KO victory of Frank Mir, the winner is in title contention for the heavyweight title.
