After suffering his first career loss Adrien Broner walked out of the ring before giving an in ring post fight interview, but Showtime sports Barry Tompkins was able to interview the former welterweight champion in his dressing room after his humiliating defeat to Marcos Maidana.
Broner congratulated Marcos Maidana and was in good spirits during the interview. Many boxing fans enjoyed seeing brash and flamboyant young champion get beaten up by an opponent they believed was being handpicked to make him look good, but it can also be considered a humbling experience to see if he learns his lesson and bounces back from this type of defeat.
