After HBO Boxing’s live presentation of the Sergey Kovalev vs. Cedric Agnew, Thomas Dulorme vs. Karim Mayfield double header on March 29, the premiere of 24/7: Pacquiao-Bradley II will be aired around midnight 12:00 ET/PT.
Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley will meet again in the ring for a rematch for the WBO welterweight championship of the world that will hopefully bring some clarity to a controversial decision in their first bout.
Each fighter claims victory. Bradley believes he clearly won 8 rounds to 4, while Pacquiao felt he won he doesn’t dwell on the judges decision and has accepted the loss. Boxing fans on the other hand have held a distaste for Bradley and the judges believing it was one of the biggest robberies in boxing.
For Bradley this is a chance to have some closure, he believes if he has convincing win over Pacquiao on April 12 it will shut up the critics.
As a veteran in the boxing game Pacquiao’s fire and ability are being questioned not only by his opponent but by boxing fans, since losing to Bradley, he got knocked out cold by Juan Manuel Marquez and took a year off to regroup. His comeback fight last November against Brandon Rios showed us a more defensive version of Manny Pacquiao who relied more on his boxing ability rather than his ferocity.
24/7: Pacquiao-Bradley will give us an inside look into the fighters training camps and preparation for the April 12, 2014 showdown on HBO PPV.
