HBO cameras will cover the build up to the November 22 Macau showdown between WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao and undefeated underdog challenger Chris Algieri on 24/7 Pacquiao/Algieri which airs on November 8th.
Pacquiao is an international boxing star from the Philippines, he is in his late 30’s and fighting for the second time in Macau, China. His opponent is little known New York native and junior welterweight champion Chris Algieri who made the boxing world take notice after he defeated hard hitting Ruslan Provodnikov to capture the title.
24/7 Pacquiao/Algieri will follow both camps as they prepare for their Pay-Per-View fight, Freddie Roach trained Ruslan Provodnikov when he lost to Algieri, and is looking to get revenge with his top star Manny Pacquiao.
Algieri isn’t well known, but he has the boxing style that could give the aging legend trouble and possibly pull off another upset.
