Premier Boxing Champions comes to the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama on July 16 with hometown champion Deontay Wilder putting his WBC Heavyweight strap on the line against exciting Mexican American slugger Chris Arreola live on FOX.
Unbeaten knockout artist and current WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35 KOs) is ready to bring the heat every time he steps into the ring, he has knocked out all but one of his his 36 opponents and will have a willing participant on Saturday night when he faces come forward brawler Chris Arreola (36-4-1, 31 KOs).
For Arreola he has extra motivation to finally achieve his life long dream of becoming Heavyweight champion of the world, this is his third shot at the WBC belt and he believes third times a charm. If he wins the belt he will also make history as the first of Mexican descent to win a Heavyweight championship in boxing.
Also on the FOX TV card is undefeated army veteran Sammy Vasquez Jr. (20-0, 14 KOs) facing off against former Olympian Felix Diaz (17-1-0, 8 KOs) in a Welterweight non title bout.
