Undefeated American boxing star Shakur Stevenson (20-0, 10 KOs), from Newark, New Jersey, continues his rise in boxing and aims to claim another world title in his third weight division when he steps up to the lightweight class to fight for the vacant WBC world title.
Stevenson was a talented amateur star who was predicted to end the gold medal drought for the men’s USA boxing team, but he fell short and won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympic games. He turned pro the following year and has been dominating every opponent he has stepped in the ring with.
Edwin De Los Santos (16-1, 14 KOs) is a power punching southpaw from the Dominican Republic and is known for his knockout power. He has only one pro loss to his record and it was a close decision loss to William Foster III. On Thursday night, De Los Santos will have a chance to become a world champion for the first time in his career, but he will be in against one of the pound for pound best, so it will be a tough task to achieve.
In the co-main event, Emanuel Navarrete (38-1, 31 KOs) will put his WBO super featherweight title belt on the line against Brazilian challenger and Olympic gold medalist Robson Conceição (17-2, 8 KOs).
