Big time boxing returns to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, December 23 with Day of Reckoning: Anthony Joshua vs. Otto Wallin, Deontay Wilder vs. Joseph Parker and a stacked undercard live on ESPN Pay-Per-View.
Former world heavyweight champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder will co-headline one of the most loaded boxing cards to finish 2023.
Joshua is ready to continue his journey to championship status but he has to get by slick southpaw Otto Wallin in the main event. Wallin has upset on his mind and is one of the toughest opponents to take on because he has nothing to lose and has proven in the Tyson Fury fight that he can be a problem in the ring.
Wilder arguably the hardest hitting boxer in boxing history will take on former champion Joseph Parker in the co-main. Parker is the underdog but believes he can avoid being hit with the right hand of Wilder if he boxes and moves in hopes of winning a decision.
The goal is for the winners of Joshua vs. Wallin and Wilder vs. Parker to square off next, but there is a dilemma because Joshua if he had his choice would rather fight for a world title than face Wilder should he beat Parker.
Also on the card is undefeated WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol putting his title on the line against undefeated British challenger Lyndon Arthur.
Former IBF Cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia of Australia will put his unblemished boxing record on the line against Ellis Zorro.
Plus many more fights including top heayvweights Arslanbek Makhmudov, Filip Hrgovic and Frank Sanchez.
