The biggest boxing card will end 2023 with a bang with Day of Reckoning, a card stacked from top to bottom with fights that could all be Pay-Per-View headliners. The event will broadcast live on DAZN Pay-Per-View and takes place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, December 23.
The main event features former unified heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua of the United Kingdom going up against Otto Wallin a very tough contender who held his own against undefeated WBC champion Tyson Fury but ended up losing the fight to the Gypsy King.
In the co-feature, American “Bronze Bomber” Deontay Wilder, takes on New Zealand’s Joseph Parker in a heavyweight clash of styles. Both former champions boast they have the tools to win. Wilder relies on his one punch knockout power and Parker relies on his ability to box and move. Wilder is the favorite due to his power, but Parker could turn the tables and as long as he avoids the right hand he could box his way to a decision.
The lone championship bout on the card features undefeated WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol taking on Lyndon Arthur.
Former IBF cruiserweight champ Jai Opetaia of Australia will put his undefeated record on the line against Ellis Zorro.
One of the more intriguing heavyweights on the card is the hard hitting rising contender Arslanbek Makhmudov and he will fight Agit Kabayel in a ten round contest.
