March 6 – HBO B.A.D (Boxing After Dark) presents: Devon Alexander vs. Juan Urango in a WBC/IBF light-welterweight unification bout at the Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville, Connecticut, at 9:30 PM ET/PT only on HBO.
WBC 140 pound champion, Devon Alexander,23, comes from the tough streets of Hyde Park, St. Louis, Missouri and looks to keep his undefeated record and secure himself as the king of the division.
IBF 140 pound champion, Juan Urango, 29, comes from Columbia, but resides in Florida, his only two losses are to Ricky Hatton and Andre Berto, Urango has a chance to give Alexander his first blemish.
The winner of this fight could face, WBO champion, Timothy Bradley, widely regarded as the king of the 140 pound, light welterweight class. A fight with Timothy Bradley and the winner of Alexander vs. Urango will determine who the undisputed light welterweight champion is.
