New Philippine congressman, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, has agreed to the original negotiation cut off date for random Olympic style drug testing that Team Mayweather originally requested before their March 13 fight fell through.
Pacquiao told Nick Giongco of the Manila Bulletin that he softened his stance from 24-days to the 14-day cutoff date and said as long as they don’t take too much blood too close to the fight he is OK.
This is a huge move on Pacquiao’s behalf showing that he really wants the fight with Mayweather, unless Floyd Mayweather comes up with another stipulation the super-fight looks promising.
From episodes of HBO 24/7 Mayweather/Mosley the USADA team randomly comes to you without your knowledge to request blood or urine any time of the day and will not leave until they receive their samples.
The ball is now in Floyd Mayweather’s court, if he refuses to agree people will think he is avoiding Manny Pacquiao.
