Kelly Pavlik, the former Middleweight Champion from Youngstown, Ohio hasn’t fought since his defeat to Argentinian boxer Sergio Martinez on HBO in April and according to a report by Lem Satterfield of AOL Fanhouse, he is in talks to fight on the November 13 undercard of Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito at Dallas Cowboys’ stadium in Texas.
“That’s being discussed now, yes, by Todd duBoef (Top Rank President) , and Cameron Dunkin (Kelly Pavlik’s manager) , and the Pavlik camp,” said Bob Arum. “There’s nothing definite, but, yes, it’s definitely being discussed.”
If Pavlik does end up on the Pacquiao-Margarito card, he will fight at a possible catch weight of about 164-pounds against a quality opponent. Given Pavlik’s name and star power he will probably be the Co-Main Event.
