Manny Pacquiao Always One Step Behind Floyd Mayweather Jr.

When I look at Manny Pacquiao, I see a guy who is always one step behind the pound 4 pound king Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. Floyd has done everything before Manny Pacquiao, Floyd won multiple world titles before Pacquiao; Floyd was on HBO 24/7 before Manny; Floyd was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! before Manny, and Floyd Mayweather was a bigger star before Manny Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather actually made Manny Pacquiao more famous because a lot of haters are looking for someone to defeat Mayweather and they think Manny Pacquiao is that guy and hoped his bandwagon.

Pacquiao also fights Floyd Mayweather’s leftovers to make a name for himself. First it was Oscar De La Hoya followed by Ricky Hatton and now Shane Mosley, all fighters that Mayweather beat up and softened up for Manny Pacquiao.

Now Manny Pacquiao wants to meet President Obama, something that Floyd Mayweather Jr. has already done even before Obama was voted into office. If Pacquiao wants to take credit for Senator Harry Reid getting re-elected then Floyd can claim he helped Obama win the presidency.

No Offense to Manny Pacquiao but President Barack Obama has far more important issues to take care of than meeting Pacquiao, like the Egyptian Crisis or the economy and other worldly issues.

Besides the most important American boxer since Muhammad Ali, Floyd Mayweather Jr., already met Barack Obama, below is a picture of Obama and Mayweather when Obama was running for his presidential campaign and he specifically requested to meet Floyd Mayweather Jr. to get his endorsement.

I don’t care what anyone says, Floyd is a better ambassador for the sport of boxing than Manny Pacquiao. I know a lot of you Floyd haters are gonna look at his personal life to discredit him, but that has nothing to do with what Floyd has accomplished inside the ring and lets not forget his noble stand to clean up the sport of boxing by implementing Olympic style drug testing before each fight to prove that those fighters are on a fair playing field and not cheating history by taking steroids.

Manny Pacquiao will always be one step behind Floyd Mayweather Jr., when it’s all said and done, Mayweather Jr. will go down as having the greater legacy and he will be remembered for spearheading stronger drug testing demands to help clean up boxing.
