PED OR STERIOD IS NOT THE ISSUE BUT MAYWEATHER

The issue in Mayweather-Ortiz transcends boxing. Whatever Floyd Mayweather Jr. does both in the ring and private, good or bad, the fact remains:  He was able to create a cult following.

The protest over the matchup is neither against the fight itself nor Ortiz. Don’t get sidetracked. Everyone may have gotten it right assessing and favoring the matchup if the matchup is all what we see.

But the big picture issue is Floyd Mayweather Jr. taking the whole boxing world to a perpetual carnival ride against our will and sensibility in the light of his eternal ducking of Manny Pacquiao and at the same time making us believe we are blind. He always leaves everyone hanging in the air with lies and false assurances. Worse, he belittles Pacman and insists the most bizarre of things in boxing today, “I am the best fighter that ever lived.”

“The truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it, ignorance may deride it, malice may distort it, but there it is.” – Winston Churchill

I can’t think of any human weapon more potent than reason and virtue against an adversary to prevail over bias and mental dishonesty before the bar of fair and impartial judgment that hovers in the great balance.

How entertaining it is to read many of the people’s varied reactions when the talk switches to Pacquiao-Mayweather. It is pathetic that we can see through them by way of reflection the root causes why there is always war in the world among compatriots in the same land or between different races and nations.

Con artists paint a false picture of their subject with colors that are loud and “convincing.” Hence things get muddled up in the gullible minds of those who read their tales and conjectures which put Manny Pacquiao in a very bad light as a boxer on drugs each time he climbs up the ring. There simply are malicious henchmen who make statements and pose questions that bait others to believe that Pacman is not willing to take the drug test when in fact he is more than willing to do so beyond what the law requires but definitely not at the extreme caprice of a spoiled brat.

My Funk and Wagnalls succinctly defines what is in certain people’s intention when they talk about Pacquiao and Mayweather to strongly favor the latter especially on the issue of PED or steroid and Floyd’s condition (excuse) for an Olympic style drug-test before he fights the pound-for-pound king when the one main problem is clear beyond exaggeration: Cowardice and “perfect record” idolatry.

I wonder how Pretty Boy got to lure fanatical disciples.

“A mental fraudulence to unduly affect or influence other minds.” Exactly, there seems to be no other objective on the part of the bias “unbeaten man” devotees but to mislead other people and drive away the discussion from the bottomline issue that is Mayweather to deliberately portray a perverted image of Manny Pacquiao so as to cover and shield their master from the truth’s flaming arrows.

The Nevada Athletic Commission appears to be toothless. The Pacman has already gone out of his way on the far side of what is normal and regular to accommodate Mayweather’s demands and the Commission cannot seem to act to settle the dispute by rebuking the whimsical and enforce a sanction on him.

Make a statement and make a way. Or simply “give way” for others to take a stand and resolve the issue. To vanish confusion and delusion.
