Sugar Ray Leonard Is Not Honest With Himself, Ducked Pryor and Would Lose to Pacquiao

I recently saw an interview where a sports analyst and Sugar Ray Leonard were talking about Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. They both acknowledged that Pacquiao and Mayweather were the best in the business in their weight divisions and were puzzled as to why they had not fought yet. Sugar Ray suggested that both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather were trying to gain psychological advantage over the other.

Deeper into the conversation the analyst asked Sugar Ray Leonard had he ever ducked anybody, and Ray answered NO!

Please Watch YouTube Video Below:

The real question is has Aaron “The Hawk” Pryor ever ducked anybody?

Let’s get this straight, Sugar Ray was a fan favorite that got his ass whooped by Tommy Hearns, out boxed by Tommy Hearns and walked away with a quick stoppage in the first fight when he needed a knockout to win after losing at least 11 of the previous 13 rounds. With seconds left in the 14th round the ref called the fight saying Tommy couldn’t have gone on. He then got another ass whopping by Tommy Hearns in a rematch and got a gift draw.

Ray Leonard was very good, but he ducked Aaron Pryor and got his ass whooped twice by Tommy Hearns no question.

Just because the judges say you win doesn’t mean you didn’t get your ass kicked.

I’m sure you can find the videos. They speak for themselves.

Then the analyst asked Sugar Ray Leonard if he could beat Manny and he hesitated and said YES! I say Ray’s back on the cocaine. There is one fighter out there that fights a lot like Aaron Pryor and his name is Manny Pacquiao. I say Ray, Manny would also kick your butt.

Nobody wanted to fight Aaron Pryor; not Tommy, not Ray and not Roberto Duran.

It will always be Hawk-Time!!
