Pacquiao-Marquez: It’s Juan’s fault for leaving it in the judges hands

I don’t know why people are crying robbery. The fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez was close and could have went either way, but this time Manny out landed Marquez and busted his face up.

Marquez and his corner are complaining, but what they did was fight a timid fight against the champion, and kept back peddling and counter punching. If you are the challenger fighting a champion and you feel you might get robbed it is your duty to try and take that belt from the champion and go for the finish. The only person I saw in that fight going for a KO and fighting like a hungry challenger was Pacquiao. Manny made a lot of mistakes and was becoming over aggressive but he was really hungry for that KO, while Marquez and Nacho Beristain were content with just going the distance and putting their fate in the judges hands.

Manny Pacquiao was the aggressor and trying to go for the KO while Marquez was just looking to counter and step back. Juan Manuel always fights Manny this way, every other fighter he faces he trades with them or is more aggressive. I am not shedding any tears for Marquez, it was his own fault that he lost the fight and nobody else’s. He came in very conservative and not taking many chances at all. I expected more hunger from Marquez instead I saw a guy who was trying not to lose instead of trying to win. If you really wanted the victory you have to go out like a real Mexican warrior and not leave it up to the judges.
