This article is in response to “Real Boxing Fans Always Knew That Manny Pacquiao Was Overrated” by Lester Salvador.
You are entitled to your own opinion. But I will not agree. It seems you are paid to discredit my idol, Manny Pacquiao.
The Pacman has accomplished many things and record shows how Pacquiao won titles in 8 different weight classes by beating all of those boxing legends and great fighters. No other boxer in history has won that many weight division titles. Manny is not overrated, but he is an underachiever who did things nobody expected of him.
The last fight with Juan Manuel Marquez may not be as convincing as his other fights, but make no mistake, Marquez is very good too. If you know boxing you will know that you cannot easily beat a great fighter like Marquez. But there is no question that Pacquiao beat Marquez.
Next time, do not try to convince us that your opinion is right because, 120 million Filipinos plus another 100 million boxing fans of Manny Pacquiao will disagree.
