If Bob Arum really wants to show the world that Floyd Mayweather is ducking, he should wait until Floyd announces his opponent for May 5th before he announces Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent.
The reason I say this is because Floyd is probably waiting for Arum to announce Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent first and than tell the people “See Arum and Pacquiao were ducking me again,” even though it’s Floyd who hasn’t even reached out to properly negotiate with team Pacquiao, and by waiting for Floyd to announce his opponent first it will put Floyd on the spot because he only has a limited amount of time to promote and train before his May 5th fight.
We all know Mayweather’s tricks and I hope Arum doesn’t fall for it again by announcing a fight first. Floyd doesn’t want to negotiate in professional manner with Top Rank and rather bluff by calling Manny out on Twitter and Facebook, so people believe he wants the fight and his technique is to wait for Arum to announce a Pacquiao fight first for either late May or early June, before he announces his next opponent for May 5th, this way Floyd can continue to fool people into thinking he wanted the fight and that Manny Pacquiao ducked him.
Bob Arum should hold out as long as possible because Manny Pacquiao doesn’t have to announce a fight right away, remember, he isn’t the one who has a deadline to meet, Floyd is supposedly contractually obligated to fight on May 5, 2102 and then go to jail on June 1st.
Manny Pacquiao is in no hurry or rush to fight, if Floyd Mayweather wants to play like that, Top Rank should play like that too.

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
