If Floyd really wants to fight Manny Pacquiao, he should agree to fight in late May

It seems like Floyd “Money” Mayweather is playing games again, he called Manny Pacquiao out for May 5th but Floyd already has a Golden Boy opponent lined up for that date. What Floyd is doing is trying to put all the blame on Manny and his promoter Bob Arum. You must remember that Bob Arum is a legendary promoter who has seen it all and when he says that Mayweather already has a fight with someone else lined you, he is usually right on the money.

Floyd claims he wants to fight Manny Pacquiao on May 5th, but this is negotiation, if you really want the fight you will now bend to the idea of fighting in late May to help build an outdoor stadium that would bring in an extra $30 million dollars.

Wasn’t it Floyd Mayweather himself who said a big fight needs at least 6 months to build up and promote? Now all of a sudden he won’t budge from his May 5th date to make the biggest fight in history.

We all know the reason why he won’t budge from that May 5th date because he already has an opponent set in stone! How else do you think he was able to get a his jail sentence pushed back to June because he already had an obligation to fight on May 5th at the MGM Grand and his lawyer stated this but just didn’t name an opponent, which allows Floyd to use Pacquiao’s name again to sell his fight against another boxer.

If Floyd really wants it that bad he should just accept the late May date that Bob Arum offered up, get the stadium done, and it gives a little more time to land more big money sponsors, and proper time for extra promotion to build the biggest boxing event in the world.

Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao are ready to negotiate, but Floyd Mayweather isn’t willing, he rather just fool the people again and call out Manny on Twitter, to make it seem like the only reason he is fighting a guy like Robert Guerrero or Erik Morales is because Pacquiao ducked him.

If you really want the fight then fight in late May, or else you are just bull#hitting the fans once again, and wasting our time.
