Manny Pacquiao Isn’t Ducking, Floyd Mayweather Is The One Bluffing!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is bluffing once again. He is trying to fool the boxing fans and gain the public’s perception to sway in his favor. He knows this is a business and you don’t negotiate on Twitter, the only people who will buy his call out of Manny Pacquiao as legit are the naive people — mainly Floyd Mayweather fanatics.

Remember Floyd said “Manny Pacquiao you’re next,” and later he flat out denied saying it, proving he is a liar when there was video of him actually saying it.

Floyd already guaranteed a May 5th date with the MGM Grand in advance, even before he was sentenced to jail, now I ask you this, in business if you are  serious about something and have a partner, do you make decisions without first consulting the other party? Do you close a deal without their knowledge or approval? NO! That is exactly what Floyd Mayweather and Golden Boy promotions did, they made a move without any opponent lined up and expect Bob Arum and Pacquiao to bow to that date without first consulting them. I believe it was a move to further delay Floyd’s court dates or in this case it was to delay his jail sentence and move it to June.

Mayweather said many times that he is his own boss, and Bob Arum tells Manny Pacquiao what to do, well that shows you that Floyd is a cherry picker and ducker, he brought up the steroid tests, he also cherry picks his opponents, and he also piggy backs off Manny Pacquiao’s name to sell his fights to keep himself in the spotlight because nobody tells Floyd what to do but himself.

Floyd fanboys will say he is more famous than Pacquiao, but that is far from the truth, because Floyd Mayweather isn’t even in the top 10 most searched athletes in the world lists, while Manny Pacquiao was the number 1 most searched athlete on Google and the 3rd most searched athlete on Yahoo for 2011. The Floyd fanboys will also claim that Pacquiao is using Floyd’s name to sell a fight,  How? When it’s Floyd who is using Pacquiao’s name, he is calling him out, he is mentioning Manny all the time. The only time I ever see Manny mention Floyd is if people ask him about Floyd, other than that Floyd isn’t even on the Pacman’s mind.

Floyd Mayweather is all mouth, if he really is serious then he should just get his people to negotiate like professionals. Golden Boy promotions isn’t very serious, they just want to make a couple million putting Floyd against a tune up before he goes to jail, but they need to make Pacquiao and Arum look bad so people don’t see their plan of trying to justify  fighting a guy like Erik Morales, a green inexperienced Canelo Alvarez or a unknown Robert Guerrero instead of Manny Pacquiao.

Also when Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer insults Bob Arum, he knows exactly what he is doing, he knows how sensitive Arum is and knows that if he insults Arum he will push him further away from making the fight happen. Richard Schaefer is no dummy, when he is serious about something he will apologize and be very cordial to Bob Arum. This is how you know he isn’t serious, basically they are calling out Bob and Mayweather is calling out Manny so when they fight someone like Robert Guerrero they will say the only reason we are fighting him is because Manny Pacquiao didn’t want the fight.

I don’t buy it. If anything the ball is in Mayweathers court, stop fronting and reach out to Bob Arum like real professionals if they really want it.

I am an avid fan of boxing and video games. My first fight of memory was watching Prince Naseem Hamed destroy Kevin Kelly. I enjoy all aspects of the sport. My favorite current boxer is Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. My favorite boxing match is Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo 1. I love watching boxing on Pay-Per-View more than being there live because you can really enjoy and watch the action from the best view.
