Manny Pacquiao will say anything to sell a fight

Manny Pacquiao just filed for his COC in the Philippines, and he is now officially fallen into the political dynasty making machine. His wife Jinkee who has no qualifications is now running for Vice Governor, and his brother Rogelio is also running for a political seat.

He is going to fight Juan Manuel Marquez for a fourth time, and during his media rounds he told everyone that he will bring back the 25 year old Pacman and be more ferocious, he promised Freddie Roach that he will report to the Wild Card Boxing club in Hollywood on October 15th, but just recently there have been reports that he said he won’t go to Los Angeles until October 27 pushing back his training even further. How serious is Manny Pacquiao? Well not very serious at all because Manny Pacquiao is a salesman and a congressman, he realizes that he doesn’t have to win to make money or deliver an impressive KO anymore because either way he gets paid millions win or lose.

This is why I don’t buy into Pacquiao’s trap anymore, he has fooled the fans and the boxing public by giving us hope that he will bring back the younger more ferocious Manny Pacquiao, the Pacman, the Destroyer of old! He has said this time and time again, only to not deliver on his promise and hold back his punches.

Pacquiao is just saying that he will go for a knockout to build up hype so people can buy the fight and make him rich, does anyone believe him when he said he will now after three tries take Juan Manuel Marquez seriously? If you couldn’t figure out Marquez before and you didn’t take him seriously the first three times why should be believe you this time?

Why did you lie to us and say before each Juan Manuel Marquez rematch that you had the Answer to beat him only to enter the ring like a clueless boxer who had no idea how to figure out an opponent and let him counter punch you every round?

I don’t believe any hype surrounding Pacquiao anymore. The Manny of old is long gone, he is no longer that humble, hungry, fighter who really wanted to please the fans, instead he is all about his image and looking good thinking if he shows compassion in the ring it will win him votes for his upcoming election, thinking people will consider him a compassionate leader.

I know my words are harsh but I am fed up, I have spent many paychecks ordering Pacquiao fights and I won’t pay for this one at all, I will just visit a relatives house to watch, he will not get a penny from me this time around, too many false promises and I am glad the judges gave the fight to Timothy Bradley because Pacquiao thinks he could get away with anything even coasting in a fight and backing away from finishing his opponent thinking he was clearly winning.

All those aspiring boxers out there, always remember to be humble to your fans, to never make your fans wait like Pacquiao did watching the NBA basketball Celtics vs. Heat game stalling the fight by an extra 45 minutes to an hour, always be on time and never think you are above others, just because you have money and fame doesn’t make it okay for you to cancel appointments last minute or to show up when you wish, those are not the actions of a truly humble man.
