2008 BWAA awards to be shown live online, Pacquiao decides to attend the awards
The 2008 Boxing Writers Association of America Dinner will be televised for the first time live online through Gofightlive.tv . The event will be shown in its entirety on Friday June 12, 2009 for free starting 6 pm EST time. The event will be attended by many boxing luminaries including Freddie Roach who won the “Trainer of the Year award”, now retired Joe Calzaghe will be in attendance and boxing scribe Norm Frauenheim to name a few.
Filipino Boxer and consensus Pound for Pound king, Manny “The Pacman” Pacquiao has decided to attend the BWAA Awards in New York after he said earlier that he was not going to attend the awards in which he was to be presented with the prestigious “Fighter of the Year” award and instead spend time on vacation with his family.
