The fight is hear just a few days away and the fourth and final episode of HBO 24/7: Pacquiao/Hatton will follow the teams during the final leg of training and the pre-fight pageantry at the presser and ceremonial weigh-in.
Manny Pacquiao and his team finished sparring and are ready to rest up for the big fight, they will travel by road with a large group of team members and family and friends, and get light workouts throughout the day mostly consisting of mittwork, road work and light shadowboxing.
Alex Ariza who handles the diet and conditioning of the Filipino southpaw will give the meals and supplementation to keep his weight at an optimum level. Pacquiao has to eat constantly to make-weight because his metabolism burns calories quickly.
Unlike Pacquiao, Hatton has to restrict his diet just to make the 140 pound limit, he is known to balloon as high as 180 pounds when not fighting and was given the nickname Fatman or “Ricky Fatton” by fans because of his quick weight gain between fights.
There will be no issue of weight because Hatton is in tip-top shape and ready to go, he is motivated to silence the critics by destroying Pacquiao and claiming his spot in the pound for pound rankings.
