In the past couple of weeks people were having their doubts on whether or not Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will ever fight. Manny said he agreed to the 14-day cut off for Olympic style drug testing and wants to fight one last time in November and Floyd told Make-A-Wish-Foundation that he was going to take a few years off from boxing.
Well, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr. was in Downtown L.A a few weeks ago to support his good friend and associate, 50 Cent (rapper/actor), during his performance at the Nokia Theatre at L.A Live.
50 Cent and Mayweather gave an interview to Tim Kash of MTV News, and they talked about an upcoming compilation album they would collaborate on together and 50 Cent said the release date would possibly be at the time of the the biggest fight in the history of boxing, which is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.
“We’ll probably launch it in the heat of the next bout,” said 50 Cent. “It’ll probably be the biggest fight in the history of the sport….and you know it will bring a truckload of money.“ referring to Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.
Mayweather agreed and said with a smile on his face, it would be the biggest fight “in the history of the sport” take what you will from the interview but there is only one fight out there that will bring in that type of money and it’s Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.
