It’s official! After 10 days of voting, Thaly Andrea and Christina Salazar have been selected by loyal Facebook fans to represent the city of Dallas in the nationwide search for the next Chicas Tecate. Thaly Andrea received a resounding 37% of votes while Christina Salazar received an impressive 19%.
The Dallas portion of the competition began on August 1 and invited adults to “Like” the Tecate Boxing Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/TecateBoxing) for their chance to virtually meet—via video and photos—the 10 finalists from Dallas.
The Chicas Tecate search continues with the top 10 finalists representing the city of Houston. Facebook fans will once again have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Chica up to five times per day via the Tecate Boxing Facebook page. Each vote cast by eligible consumers will bring them closer to winning the grand prize: a trip for two to a major boxing event and exclusive behind-the-scenes access, allowing winners to live the VIP boxing experience.
At the end of the five-city competition, the four candidates with the most votes will be crowned the official Chicas Tecate and represent the brand at various events throughout the year.
